I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team TReX

Hello my friends, family, colleagues, customers, and anyone who I have the privilege of having your e-mail :}. You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! Many of you know and if U do not I lost my Mother, Anne Pickett, to cancer last year on the exact date, Feb 28th, I will shave my head 4 the kids. This is a beautiful way to celebrate her life and I hope she is proud of the honor that I will donate in her name. My father, Charles T. Pickett, also died last year in an accident on Dec 31, 2008. I will also be donating funds in his name as well. He worked at Duke hospital for 25 years and even after he retired he always went back to visit the childrens ward where he loved spending his off time just to make them smile. This has been a difficult year for me and I am joining forces with my good friend Craig Allen to do something GOOD for children with this terrible disease. This is the kind of legacy that I want to leave in my parents name so that their memory will go on in the lives of the children who are fighting for theirs. In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure. Now its your turn all I ask for is a donation no matter how small or how large so that kids can fight for their lives. I always conclude in these things that, if I have ever bought you a drink, dinner, helped you move, or anything that I love doing for people in my life then this is how u pay me back helping others. My mom always taught me to Pay it Forward. Now here is your chance. To make a donation, click on "Donate Online" or "Donate by mail or phone." Thank you for your support!
