I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Every child is a gift. Every child is our future. Unfortunately, because of this unimaginable disease, some children will have no futures. "Why" you might ask? Because cancer is the number one killer of children in the United States. "Worldwide, 1750,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. And in the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease- more than aids, asthma, cystic fibrosis, congenital anomalies and diabetes combined." Scrolling through this website, i'm thankful to see that under some children's names, their status reads "no sign of disease" or "in remission". But far too many have been marked as "angel". The thought of the life of an innocent child cut short because of something beyond their control is heart wrenching. Which is why i decided to be part of something much bigger than myself- to help raise money to find a cure. This is it. Your chance to be an every day superhero. Don't let another child become just another statistic. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Every little bit counts.
