I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hi I'm Megan, I've answered the call to raise awareness to fund research to find cures for childhood Cancer! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Children have always had a special place in my heart. I am Currently Studying to become a Child Life Specilist. If you don't know what that is a Child life specialists use various tequniques to educate, prepare and support children through difficult tests, procedures and the sometimes drastic changes that happen within their families due to chronic or acute illness, treatment and hospitalization. Untill I Can finish college (which will take a while unfortunaly *sigh*) I thought what can I do to help right now? I found St. Baldricks and everything fell into place. I can help find a cure for childhood cancers so hopefully in the future no one will need a child life specialist to help kids cope with cancer!!!
