I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
For the past six and a half years, I have been working alongside children and their families as they battle this deadly disease. I’ve been there when parents are told their child has cancer. I’ve watched the kids deal with the terrible side effects cancer treatments bring. I’ve seen kids grow up in the hospital, when they should be going on field trips and playing hide and seek. I’ve held the hands of children as they take their last breath. Something has to change. I want to help. Please help me give hope! Thank you!
