I am doing St. Baldrick's again! "But Jonathan/Pottle/son/you jerk," you say, "you kept shaving your head after St. Baldrick's 2008. Aside from the not-at-all-smug self-satisfaction I get from helping children afflicted with horrible conditions, what is the payoff? How do I also laugh at you in the process? And whats with that chin-beard you think you are growing?" Well, you are in luck. As of several days ago, I have stopped shaving my head and I will attempt not to shave it until 18 March. Those who donate through my St. Baldricks page this year will get periodic updates on how badly my hair is growing back...and how awesome my new mutton-chop sideburns are (sorry, Kimmy). I sort of mangled them while shaving my face, but I am pretty sure I can resurrect them. As with last year, all donors also receive a picture of the fundraisers aftermath...and to make things spicy I probably will keep the chops (Kim I am so sorry). The event is held on 18 March, at Tulane Medical School, so expect pictures after that time. This is a very good cause, folks. We all know someone who has been affected by cancer. A donation to St. Baldrick's is a step toward improving the lives of children affected by childhood cancers. Please donate today! As for the mildly unsuccessful beard, well, I am not sorry about that at all.
