Once again I will be shaving my beard (I'm already bald) to show support for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. But this year I will be teaming up with my son, Sean, under the team name 'Ihm Shaving.' Please consider donating to this most important cause, ending childhood cancer! St. Baldrick's give grants every year to doctors to aide in the research of finding better ways to treat young patients and hopefully finding a cure. I am shaving to honor my daughter who is a Leukemia survivor. She was only two months old when she was diagnosed and had to have a bone marrow transplant when she was just two and a half years old. I am also shaving to honor my cousin (whom I named my son after) who died of Leukemia 28 yrs ago when he was just fifteen years old. My cousin fought hard, over five years, to try to beat cancer but ultimately he was overcome by the Leukemia. My cousin didn't have much of a chance but because of research and new ways of defeating this disease, my daughter was able to win her battle and now enjoys doing things the typical second grader is supposed to enjoy. I want every child diagnosed be able to say they are survivors! Please help, any amount will go a long way. Thank you and God Bless!
