I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: For a Teddy Smile

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: For a Teddy Smile

I'm very happy to have reached my fundraising goal and honestly quite relieved to have gotten there 2 weeks out from the shave, but I'm not going to stop because of a line in the sand - every dollar helps towards finding better treatments for our kids and now my goal is the challenge of just how much good can my 2ft of hair do?! I'm shaving my head because 7 kids in the US die each day and of those that survive 2/3rds suffer lifelong effects from the treatments.

This video details the 2 years of treatment that my friend Teddy Berger-Greer went through and says more in a few mintues about how devastating current treatments are than I could ever express in this message.

I love and miss Teddy.

Neuroblastoma

I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
