I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
Seven children who were diagnosed with cancer within the past five years died today. Five children who lived at least five years after diagnosis died today. Twelve (12) children were killed by childhood cancer today.....
The odds of developing cancer before age 20 are 1 in 300 for every single child you know. One in three children diagnosed with cancer will be killed by it, a secondary cancer or other long-term effects from the "cure" of cutting, burning and poisoning.
We lost our son AJ to childhood cancer in January 2008. I shave my head to raise funds to find a cure for childhood cancers. Please help find a cure for childhood cancers.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
