I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. I believe that as we fight cancer we are bringing kingdom come and working towards restoring creation to what it was intended to be.
Shaving my head for St. Baldricks has been on my UVA bucket list since second year so I am so excited to finally be doing it! Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
The boy I am honoring, Peter Choo, was the younger brother of my best friend in middle school. Peter's life was short but his joy was unending! Thank you for joining me in the fight against cancer!
