I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Arrow

Why am I having my head shaved?
Many of us have been impacted by Cancer in some way. Just over a year ago, I wanted to do more than just make monetary contributions to the usual charities. A colleague of mine, Rick Brown, was organizing an event to help raise funds for childhood cancer research in Canada. He wanted to recruit me as a volunteer and the catch was that I had to shave my head in the process! Knowing what the cause was made my decision a simple one.
The St. Baldrick's Foundation partners with organizations around the world to fund childhood cancer research. Last year we had 45 shavees participate and raised over $56,000.00. This year we are honored to be dedicating the event to Isla Grace Kerr. She is the daughter of one of our colleagues who was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
