I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Buffalo Wild Wings

I like to think I had a pretty good childhood. I was given all the opportunities required to have a fair shake at life: LOVE, SHELTER, EDUCATION and HEALTH. Sure, I may not be cute and innocent anymore, but this isn’t about me. What IS cute and innocent, however, is a beautiful wide-eyed child looking out into the giant world around them, just chomping at the bit to dive in head first and experience all of amazing things that many of us take for granted in our so-called maturity. Try to remember the first time you REALLY looked up into the clear night sky to find that it was ALIVE with shimmering stars and planets. Now imagine a young boy or girl gazing into this very same sky, dreaming of one day voyaging beyond our little Earth and into the mysterious veil of the larger universe. The child removes their baseball cap to get a better view, revealing the tender, hairless scalp they have now become accustomed to from their many chemotherapy sessions. This child is strong and brave, but still shudders subtly as the cool night breeze whisks across their bald pate. The future is uncertain for so many of our little dreamers. They NEED out help…

I'm getting my HEAD SHAVED to show my support to the infants, children, teens and young adults who are forced to demonstrate COURAGE and STRENGTH well beyond their years as they battle the debilitating afflictions of CHILDHOOD CANCER.

Please support me with a donation to the ST. BALDRICK'S FOUNDATION. They are the REAL DEAL, working TIRELESSLY year-round to help give HOPE and LIFE to these young souls who were never given a choice as to their present circumstances. With YOUR HELP, however, a choice may be afforded to them in regards to the quality of (or even the possibility of) their FUTURE.
