I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TransRe

My name is Christian Rosowicz and I am going to shave my head because my brothers and father inspired me to do this. I do not want little children to go through this horrible disease. The money you donate will help children with cancer so they can get better. Thank you.
My name is Joey Rosowicz. I have decided to shave my head to help kids who have cancer. At first, I was debating on whether or not to shave my head, but after thinking it through, I decided to participate. One of the reasons I have chosen to participate in this event is because my dad is battling pancreatic cancer. As hard as this is on my family, I can’t imagine one of my siblings going through this terrible process. By shaving my head, I will experience one unpleasant side-effect that kids have from cancer treatment. However, the biggest reason why I am doing this is to raise money to help find a cure. Please donate to help kids with cancer.

My name is Drew Rosowicz. I’m shaving my head to raise money for children’s cancer research. I know what it is like to have a family member with cancer but I can’t imagine what it is like to have a child in one’s family with cancer. I will wear my baldness with pride because I know that the money raised will fund research that will one day put an end to this terrible disease.

From the mouths of babes…

When I mentioned to my family that I was volunteering to shave my head to help raise money for cancer research, one of my boys said, “but dad, you’re already bald.” After a good laugh about the status of my diminishing follicles, my boys quickly decided to jump on the bandwagon for such a great cause. This issue hits home for us as this year marks the 6th anniversary since I was diagnosed with cancer. During this time, we have been blessed with overwhelming support from family and friends. I am confident, based on the progress that we’ve experienced over the last six years, that one day a cure will be found.

Please support the many children and their families battling cancer with a donation to the St Baldrick’s Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Thank you!

St. Baldrick's Foundation is a childhood cancer charity funding research to help find cures for children with cancer. The Foundation raises money for childhood cancer research primarily through head-shaving events. Volunteers, sponsored by family, friends and employers, shave their heads in solidarity with children who typically lose their hair during cancer treatment. Since 2000, St. Baldrick's Foundation volunteers have organized nearly 4,200 head-shaving events and shaved over 190,500 heads, raising more than $118 million for life-saving childhood cancer research.
