I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

It's shave time! I started growing my hair out late this past summer and now feel like I'm walking around with a raccoon on my head! It all must go!

Last year, thanks to the generosity of so many of you, I was able to raise over $2,000 in the fight against children's cancer. This year I have set my goal a bit higher at $2,600.

As an added bonus, if I raise $3,000 I will not only shave my head, but beard and moustache as well! The stash has been there since 1985!!! My wife has threatened to throw me out if I go clean shaven(something about keeping the ugly covered up), but I'm willing to risk it for the kids!

I've changed locations this year. This year I will be shaving at Napper Tandy's, in Raleigh. My shave time is 12-Noon on March 2. Come join me while I get shaved, and share a beer or two with me!

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
