I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: NetApp- St. Louis

Hello! I am going to take a few minutes and explain why I am asking for your contribution. As many may already know, St Baldrick's is the organization which does the head-shaving events around St Pat's every year. People volunteer to run the events, to get advertising on TV, radio and newsprint, to shave their heads, and to drum up awareness. Why the head shaving? Because the kids who are going through treatment don't have a choice in the matter. St Baldrick's is BBB accredited. This means they raise money for children's cancer research, and it actually gets used for the research. Unlike some other campaigns, there aren't products on the store shelves suggesting that a portion of your purchase goes toward research, all of the monies you give go towards finding a cure. What started with the participation of three friends back on St Patrick's Day 1999, has morphed into a worldwide movement of people who contributing their time, talents, and means to the fight against children's cancers. I am asking you to be a part of this. I am volunteering to have my head shaved and help raise $2,000 towards children's cancer research. This is my first year, and I would truly love to bowl that 2K number right over. Please contribute what you can and help me reach my goal! Thank you and God Bless, Jay
