I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
I lost a childhood friend to ovarian cancer 4 years ago. She passed only weeks after her diagnosis. I lost my grandfather to colon cancer. I had an aunt with breast cancer. I just recently was told my cousin has been diagnosed with breast cancer. I want to do something to honor all of the people who are suffering from cancer and people who I have loved and have died. These people in my life were not children but there are many children being treated by surgeries, chemo, and radiation just as my friend and family members were.
I am a kindergarten teacher and a mother. I care deeply for children and pray that all children have the opportunity to live a life free from illness.
I want to show my support to the parents who have a child fighting cancer. I just want to do something to help find a cure. Shaving my head is a small sacrifice for a very important cause.
Please make a donation and help me raise funds to find a cure!
Thank you.

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
