I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Elliott

For as long as I can remember, people have commented on my hair. Whether long, short, curly, or straight, it has been my trademark. I am blessed that people know me by my hair. Unfortunately, countless individuals, including kids, never get that chance due to their battle with cancer. I can't imagine (yet) what it would be like to have no hair. So to do my part, I'm joining the fight against childhood cancer and shaving my head! Many of my own family and friends have battled or are currently battling cancer. Seeing these individuals power through and stay strong has encouraged me more than they will ever know. To show my appreciation, I'm doing my part to get rid of this terrible disease. Hair is hair, to those of us with it. It will grow back. So, why not change it up for a little bit?? I know that many people have protested me shaving my head.... so I will make you a deal: If I raise more money from people asking me to SAVE my hair, I won't shave it. However, if more people donate for me to SHAVE, it's bye-bye hair! When you donate, please leave a comment specifying whether you are donating to SHAVE or SAVE. Human hair wigs run anywhere from $650 to over $12,000 for a custom wig. Together, I want us to help cover the cost of the equivalent of two nice human hair wigs: $2,000. So are we SHAVING or are we SAVING? It is up to you!
