I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Rebecca

When my friend jamie called me several years ago Alyssa was 2 she said she had been diagnosed with t-cell leukemia. I didn't understand what that was nor did I have a clue what my friend would be going through either.. Now 8 years later my pageant friend's daughter is being diagnosed with t-cell leukemia and when I saw the posting her mom posted it took me back to years ago when jamie started her battle with her little girl. I want to be there for rebecca and Michelle and I want rebecca to know she will never be alone. She will beat this disease and she will get better and go on to have a full life. I also want to find a cure so no other parent has to sit there and listen to a doctor telling them their child faces this horrible disease. I am no stranger to cancer. I just had the biggest scare of my life. God gave me a second chance and I want to use that second chance to make a difference. I also have lost many family memebers and friends to cancer and I want everyone to have that second chance. this is the only way I know how to help but I do plan on helping and I am in this fight until I die. I will one day help find a cure..
