I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Striving4More

On 10/17/2007, I was with my daughter, Colleen, in her hospital room when she decided that it was time to shave her head. Colleen's hair was coming out in big clumps from the chemo therapy and it was getting in her mouth when she was eating and it was getting down her clothes and becoming quite irritating. We called a nurse in and she had her remaining head shaved. That night, I shaved my head to support Colleen. I have kept it pretty short ever since. However, I have started growing it out now so that I can shave it during the St. Baldrick's event this year to raise money to help the other children that are still suffering from this devastating disease. Please support me by making a donation or coming to the event on 3/7 at Napper Tandys in downtown Raleigh. (Diane is shaving her head too!).
