I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Joaquin's lucha libre!

In March 2012, I participated as a SHAVEE to support this amazing cause. Along my journey into baldness and beyond I was blessed to meet some amazing people who inspired me to keep up with the effort of raising awareness of St. Baldricks as an organization. I am very proud to participate as a volunteer on July 29 with 46 Mommas Shave for the Brave! Although I don't plan to shave my head this time around (but who knows what may happen!) I know it will be as moving if not even more moving that my last St. Baldricks experience was. Thanks for taking the time to read this and spread the word about this worthwhile cause. And hey- if you really wished you could've donated to my fundraising team last March (see "Go Bald or Go Home" at the Twisted Vine in Fullerton on March 18, 2012) but weren't able to for whatever reason, well, perhaps now's your chance! Lots of Love ~Sandy

To help kids fighting cancer, I'm a volunteer with the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Please support me!

With head-shaving and other fundraising events, this volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
