I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Line of Hope Connecticut

To help kids fighting cancer, I'm a volunteer with the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Please support me but more importunely please support these many children and families affected by cancer! With head-shaving and other fundraising events, this volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. Childhood cancer is the #1 killer of children in the US and Canada. Each year, 160,000 children are diagnosed with cancer worldwide. Research SAVES LIVES! ~~~~Your support means so much! I follow so many children with cancer, some are in remission, NED, some are still fighting and other have lose their young precious lives to the beast called cancer. These kids mean so much to me and I am honored to have met some very special kids and families. They are the reason why I am participating in this event. They have touched my heart forever! To imagine a life with out cancer would be incredible, St. Baldricks as well as many others I believe will make it happen. Together we can help! Please consider making a donation to this event. Every dollar counts! We would love it if you joined us on this special day September 9th If your weary about the shave part- don't be because we are not shaving! But it will be an awesome event with many more details to come!
