What is the Conga Line Of Hope?? Lou our New York Coordinator is asking each state to find a few people to stand in line wearing letters of those lost or battling cancer. Or they could wear letters that spell words of inspiration like Hope, Cure, Strength, etc… I usually try to get $10.00 a letter which includes one person to wear it in line. I also try to make it as easy as possible by telling states they just need one word or name minimum to be involved. Whether it’s the name AJ using two people or COURAGE requiring 7 people. (From Lou>> My event in this small country town in NY gets about 200 people in line, but I don’t want others to think they have to do it that big. I just want to get at least a few people in each state to do it. New this year (separate from the line of hope) is the National Message of Hope. I have the folks at the foundation working on a 50 word national message that they will send to me and in turn I will randomly send out one word to each state to hold for a picture. If we only get 25 states then each will get two words…etc… The words won’t mean anything to anyone until they are all put together on September 9th. Each state will email their photos holding their word(s) and we will then put them into a slideshow in the proper order to spell out this national message (or course each word photo will also show the state that held it. ??Questions contact me Robin @ 920-579-0536 mrsschrads@yahoo.com or Lou @ lineofhope@hvc.rr.com
