I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Update - 3/22/12 (Post-event) All, thank you so much for helping me raise money to support cancer research. I participated in this event to give back and create a vessel for all of us to do something extraordinary. And we have done that something extraordinary: we've given children, present and future, hope of not having to live with cancer. Donation prizes: Give $15+ and you'll receive a signed picture of me with and without my hair. Give $20+ and I'll send you a signed funny picture of me getting my head shaved. ___________ Original message: Sometimes we find ourselves having it too easy. I've found that I can hold a lot of hair on my head without much effort. But this time, I'm getting rid of it all to stand by those that aren't able to easily grow hair upon their heads. They didn't ask to cut it or shave it - they had it taken from them. I've chosen to stand with them in missing my hair.

To make it more interesting, my head hair is 5" long and my beard is 2" long. These measurements were updated on 3/16/12. If you think you're going to be shocked at my lack of hair, you'll miss my hair, of even if you're glad I'm taking it off because it's too long, then I urge you to donate and show your support.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
