I have decided to commit myself to something I feel is important, and I’m asking for your support. I’m going to have my head shaved at the private Philly I-Day St. Baldrick’s Foundation event this Thursday, March 22nd, 2012 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This is an event hosted by the Insurance Society of Philadelphia and the CPCU Societies Philadelphia, Brandywine Valley and Valley Forge Chapters. Come join us at 4:30 pm on March 22nd, 2012 at the PACC - just off of Broad Street on the 3rd floor, outside Terrace Ballroom 1.
By doing this, I will stand in solidarity with kids being treated for cancer. But that’s not the main reason. Most importantly, I’m doing this to raise money for life-saving research.
As time is very limited, please respond and make a donation on my head. You can also come watch me and others “shaving the way to conquer kids’ cancer!” This is a fun way to do something very important. One way to think about this is – if your child/grandchild, niece or nephew, little brother/sister, cousin or close friend/neighbor’s child was diagnosed with cancer, how much would you donate to research, the day you found out?
To make a donation, see my donor names, fundraising progress, and before and after photos, please visit my page. Please help me reach my goal of $5000.00.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a fantastic organization and you can research them at www.StBaldricks.org or call 1(888-899-BALD). Credit cards are the most efficient way to give, or you can write a check payable to “St. Baldrick’s Foundation.” I’ll be collecting pledges!
On behalf of some very special kids and a terrific cause, thank you for your support!
