For the second year in a row, I am proud to join my friends at IAS and NetApp in the fight against childhood cancer. I am shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research. Last year over 240 individuals supported me with my first quest and helped me personally fundraise over $25,000. I don’t have the 20 inches of rocker hair that I had last year, but I still feel that it is very important that we continue to raise awareness about St. Baldrick’s and help spread the word about this awesome cause.
I am proud to raise money in honor of Ms. Elise Lambert again this year. Elise is 6 ½ years old and is currently undergoing treatment at St. Jude’s Research Hospital for Brainstem Glioma, which is a malignant brainstem tumor located in the medulla. Since undergoing radiation treatments, Elise has taught everyone close to her what “living in the moment” is truly about! She continues to feel good, play hard, and love life. It is everyone’s hope that her tumor continues to shrink and stabilize; and that Elise will live a long and healthy life. Elise’s story continues to be an inspiration to me.
In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.

Thank you for your continued support!
