I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Menudo Heights

I hadn't cut my hair in over a year and had been hearing lots of ideas on when and how I should finally cut it. I heard about St. Baldrick's and thought it would be neat to donate it if it was long enough, but after hearing the ladies with SMILE talk about their experiences I was hooked and knew I had to help them help St. Baldrick's raise funds! After initially doubting how much money I could raise, I was surprised to find out how much support I received right away and with that momentum decided to raise my goal up to $1,000 and see how much I could really help. A lot of people tell me they love my hair, but hearing some of the stories these children go through, it made me realize it is just hair. It'll grow back eventually and this was just the least I could do to help out this great cause! Thanks again everyone for helping me reach my goal and battle pediatric cancer!
