I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Abby's Army

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Abby's Army

"I'm really excited about St. Baldrick's day because I did it last year and I know it's going to be fun. I like to do this because kids with cancer who don't have hair might feel better if they see that other kids look like them and want to help them." I'm participating in St. Baldrick's in honor of Abby. Her journey began April 12, 2006, when she was admitted to Childrens Hospital in Minneapolis, diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma, N-MYC amplified, unfavorable histology. She reached official NED status on Sept. 18, 2006 (on her 5th birthday). Her next round of tests will be Aug 2012.

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
