I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: It's a beautiful weekend to get buzzed!

For the past five months, I have experienced some of the challenges and pleasures that come with being a nurse for pediatric oncology patients. I've certainly experienced some of the sadness that people often tend to associate with the profession, however, with all of that pain and vulnerability, I have had a constant stream of smiles and laughter that make what I do more amazing than I could have ever imagined. It's been such a pleasure to know and care for these children, the absolute strongest and most amazing individuals I've ever known. These young men, women and children have strength of mind and body that I could not begin to emulate. I have decided to join St. Baldrick's to show my support for these kids (my kids!) by shaving off my golden locks. Please join me in supporting the search for a cure for childhood cancer, and show your support for these awesome kids!
