I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Daniel Cavazos

My friend Marc and I are having our heads shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support us with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. I am Honoring Marcs little Brother and my Buddy Daniel... also Daniels friend Benny who has passed.

I am also shaving my head in Memory of my Uncle Steve who is no longer with us. He was a cool guy. He fought glioblastoma. And my Grandfather Chuck who had Leukemia and is no longer here. Also my Aunt Pam who I never really got to meet.

From my best friend Marcs Page..."I chose to shave my head in solidarity with my brother Daniel who at the age of 2 was diagnosed with leukemia. He then relapsed at age 4. He has lost his hair many times. I also am shaving my head in honor of one of friends he met at the hospital who is now a St. Baldricks angel, Benny. He was 6 yrs old. Daniel does't know he passed. I hope to raise money so a cure can be found."

From Daniels Page / Mom... "In 6-8 weeks Daniel will complete his 2nd course of chemo and radiation. This has been 4 yrs. Initially the doctors thought Daniel would need a stem cell transplant but his brothers and sister were not matches ..... I pray more people join the bone marrow registry. It treats some cancers and other diseases. After relapse, chemo and radiation were harder on his body. He was admitted for treatment/compications. He did it with a smile and wanted to meet his room mate."
