I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Blame it on the RE's

I will be, once again, donating my hair to Wigs4Kids but I figured, due to the timing of the 2nd Annual St. Baldrick's event at LGA on March 30th, I could raise some money for kids with cancer.

This year, LGA is sponsoring 2 1/2 year old Carsyn Volpe who was diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer called Neuroblastoma. He was diagnosed in August of last year and his a Stage 4 high risk patient. As a parent, I couldn't imagine anything worse but from what I know, the boy is a fighter and has been responding well to his chemotherapy. Hopefully we can raise his and his family's hope with our simple task of shaving our heads. His father is a Manhattan College Jasper alum and he worked in the PA Construction Management Division with me and he is a good man.

Please support Carsyn and I with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
