I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

This year I will be shaving my head to raise cancer awareness and to raise money for the cure to cancer. I have never done this fundraiser before, but I thought how lucky of a person I am not to have to go through all of the pain other kids have to. I look at people I know with cancer, and I just want to help. I have lost someone very close to me before. Some of you may know him as Richard Zunt, but I knew him as Pappa Dick. Skin cancer took his life. He was 78 years old. Though he was going through pain he kept strong and enjoyed his life. To even think that infants, toddlers, children, and teens have to go through the experience and same pain that a grown man had to go through is horrifying. I dont pity them though. Instead I look at them as heroes. These kids are the bravest people I know. I would love to raise around $500. Even if I don't reach my goal, any amount that you could donate will help find a cure. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
