I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Daniel the Brave

I first shaved my head in 2005 simply to support the St. Baldrick's cause. I participated in the Boulder event a few times but it has been several years sinceI have been a shavee. I've known Daniels Mom for years, we used to work together. Although we haven't stayed in touch, we are friends on facebook, which is where I first heard of Daniel the Brave. I have followed Daniels journey for these past months, sending love and prayers along with so many others. When I heard Daniels father would be leading a team of shavee's for this years St Baldrick's Day, I knew the had come again. Maybe this is something I can do to comfort and support Daniel's parents and his family and help to make a difference for all the children to come. So, I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids, to support YOUR kids. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
