I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Friends for Max and Danielle

It was roughly 5 years ago when we moved to the suburbs of Chicago, with a warm welcoming of many neighbors – 2 of which we have seen and are seeing fight through a disease known as CANCER! Both diagnosed with rare forms of Cancer, these two children have never ceased to amaze me at their strength and determination to win this fight. Their names; Danielle and Max! Max was just diagnosed with heptoblastoma cancer at the age of 3. Max is like a brother to my children, I have known him since the day he was born and he spends more time with my girls than do I. He is apart of our family and we love him dearly. We are fighting for Max to continue to be strong during his battle to win! Danielle was diagnosed with metastatic osteosarcoma at the age of 10. Danielle was one of the first children that we met moving here and has also been another big part of our life and my daughter Masey’s transition to a new place. We watched Danielle win her fight with Cancer and now 3 years later Danielle is proof that you can beat this disease. With this said, I ask for your donation in supporting me to raise money on behalf of Danielle and Max to the St Baldrick’s Foundation. This is a volunteer-driven charity to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancer. Click “Make a donation” to give online, or donate by phone or mail. Thank you for your support!
