Hello Friends and Colleagues!!
In years past when I have considered joining the brave ranks of St. Baldrick's Shavee's, my daughters vetoed it. They actually cried last year. I had no idea they were so attached to my hair!! Well they are now teenagers and in that wonderful stage of life where they pretend they don't even know me. I am finally free to pursue my destiny!!
Cancer has touched my life and family in many ways. My Mom was a cancer survivor and we lost my older Sister to it. Over the years I have seen many Friends and Colleagues battle for their lives as well. It is time I did something to help beat this thing!!
So, I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
I have set my goal high so please click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
Thanks and God Bless You!
