I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Brianna's Brigade

My sister Brianna died of a very rare brain tumor when she was only 13 years old. I want to honor my sister because she is my hero and I miss her very much. I hate cancer and how it steals people from their family and friends. I especially hate that kids have to go through such a horrible experience. To help kids fighting cancer, I'm volunteering to raise money and assist with the St. Baldrick's Foundation. My entire family has participated in the Naperville Public Service Event for 4 years and it is very important to me. In 2009, my sister was honored at the event and couldn't wait to attend in 2010! However, she passed away on July 25, 2009. All of the following years we participate to remember my sister and all of the children who have had to fight cancer, especially DIPG which doesn't give kids a chance. Please support me! I want to raise at least $250 to help this volunteer-driven charity. St. Baldrick's funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
