I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: NetApp Global Team

Ever since the middle of night call on Christmas Eve 2010 from our dear friends, stating "Michael has cancer," this cause, although always more than worthy, became near and dear to my heart, and my family's heart. It's one of those things that you feel helpless, and constantly ask yourself what you could do to help and to fix. I can't cure Michael's cancer, but I can sure try to help those that are in a position to try. It's minor in comparison to what Michael and his family, as well as all the children and their families go through that face these challenges, but it is indeed critical in the battle. I don't consider myself a hero, I'm just shaving my head to show solidarity with Michael and the other children afflicted with cancer and trying to raise money to fund the fight. Michael and his parents, his siblings, and his extended family, in just getting and outsiders view of what they went through, and continue to go through, is worthy of the Hero title. This is my second year shaving, so my goal is to beat what I raised last year, and I appreciate everyone's support in doing so. When I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these Michael and all the other kids. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
