I've answered the call to be a hero by joining Fado Irish Pub to help raise money for St. Baldrick's Foundation. I am having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. St. Baldrick's is a volunteer-driven charity and funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. By donating, you will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
Together, here is what we have done:
In just the last 3 years, together we have raised $4,157!!
We raised $1,710 (14th out of 88 volunteers) for the 2011 St. Baldrick's event Fado Irish Pub - Atlanta
Last year, Fado Irish Pub - Atlanta raised $96,439 for St. Baldrick's Foundation
Last year, St. Baldrick's Foundation was able to fund a record-breaking 74 grants for projects that began July 1. That's $19.6 million committed to childhood cancer research last summer!!
That is amazing...thank you for your commitment!! So, what can you do to join this effort and make this an even better year? Please continue to support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. In addition to the children I am honoring, I am dedicating my efforts this year to my mom, Karen Price. So please click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. Thank you!
