I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Tomorrow marks the 10th time that Morgan and I along with a few good friends will be shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research. Our event has grown, and more importantly, has inspired others to organize events across NOLA that have continued to grow and raise money for the fight. It's one thing, as an adult, to wage your own battle against cancer as I have since 2003. However, no child should ever have to endure such an insidious disease, nor should a parent have to look into a child's eyes and tell him or her that he or she has cancer. Shaving our heads is just a small way we show solidarity with these heroes, and if it inspires you, my friend to donate to the cause, then all the better. Please join me in this fight and donate and/or come out and support the event. Be Brave, Geaux Bald!
