I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

To help kids fighting cancer, I'm a volunteer with the St. Baldrick's Foundation. With head-shaving and other fundraising events, this volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

As a volunteer I'm not expected to shave my head. But to have some fun and make things a little more interesting for my donors I thought I'd do the following. If my fundraising donations reach $250. dollars by March 17th I'll get a curly perm.

And if I can raise $ 1000.00 dollars by June 28th I'll dye my hair the color chosen by the most votes tallied on my facebook page and shave it into a mohawk: https://www.facebook.com/BlacknickSculpture The choice of colors are Blue, Orange, Green and Purple.

Then if I reach my goal of $1500.00 on July 4th I'll shave it totally bald!

You don't have to be a donor to visit my page and leave your vote for the color of your choice. But if you can donate a few dollars that would be most welcome! I also plan on auctioning some of my artwork with a percentage of the proceeds to benefit the St.Baldrick's Foundation. Check my blog for updates on future auctions : http://blacknick-sculpture.blogspot.com/

Please give a donation if you are able. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
