I've known George and Sandimar Timberman for a few years now, and as long as I've known them, I've admired their courage in standing with children fighting cancer by having their heads shaved every year, in an effort to raise money for the St. Baldrick's organization.
So this year, I'm finally making an effort to help out. I'm having my head shaved on March 16th to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. If you have known me for any amount of time, you know that I am pretty horrible at getting a haircut, usually only cutting it once each spring. So hopefully the shock of seeing my pasty white cue-ball will get people talking and thinking about cancer patients, and the suffering they endure every day.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
