WOW!! I have an AMAZING GROUP OF FRIENDS!! Look what you did!!!!!
Friends,
As a team, we raised $6015, or 4 times our initial goal! We finished 4th out of 700+ “Shavee’s/Fundraisers”! You participated in the second largest event in the world for money raised ($400,000 and still counting) and the number of Shavee’s! This event has raised $2 million in 9 years!
Please visit the website and view my pictures: http://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/participantid/515363
Thank you for supporting my efforts and helping raise money for kids with cancer! For you.....I say an old Irish Blessing:
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
May the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again.
May the Lord hold you in the palm of His hand.
3rd UPDATE: My friends, we did it! We blew through our initial goal of $1000, quickly passed $2000, drove past $3000 and kept pushing to $5000! Thank you for helping raise money to find a cure for kids with cancer!
For those of you that want to witness my head shaving, please stop by Helen Fitzgerald's Irish Pub this Saturday before 2pm. For those that cannot make the event, please click on the link below to see my before and after pictures!
2nd UPDATE: WOW is all I can say, thank you for supporting my efforts to raise money to find a cure! Based on the response, I need to raise my goal to $5000! We have until March 9th to reach this, please pass this message on to your friends!
UPDATE: Thanks to all that have already supported my efforts! It's a great feeling to know I have so many friends with the same desire to help find a cure! Together we surpassed my initial goal of $1000 I set on Sunday 1/12, I raised the goal on Wednesday 1/15 to $2000 and now due to the unbelievable support, I'm raising it to $3000! We can do this together, let's triple my initial goal!
I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
