I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Team Hales
Hello everyone! I am shaving my head to fight cancer on March 10th. Cancer has affected my life more than once. I lost my great grandmother and my grandfather to cancer. My aunt had breast cancer and my stepmom fights with it today. I am unfortunately sure that my experiences are normal or small compared to what other people have had to deal with when it comes to cancer. As most of you know I gave birth to a healthy baby girl back in August. I am so thankful to have her in my life and I am grateful every day that I get to spend with her. I cannot imagine her in pain or life without her. My heart goes out to the families that have to deal with this horrible disease and watch their little ones suffer or die. The task of shaving my head seems like a weak and powerless weapon when compared to the enemy of cancer. But, I need to remember that every little bit helps. Please donate just 5 or 10 dollars to this cause and together we can raise millions to help these families get through their crisis and come just a little closer to beating cancer. Thank you!
