I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: NetApp Global Team

I am having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find a cure for childhood cancers. I was inspired to do this after my son's Scout den recently lost one of our boys to cancer. I saw the pain of this young man and his family, and their courageous determination during the year long fight and I felt helpless do anything but hope and pray. As a parent, I can only imagine what it would be like to get up each day and watch your child suffer through such a terrible disease and still preserve hope that one day you will hear the doctor's pronouncement that your child is cancer-free. Unfortunately for our Scout family that day did not come, but I am determined to do all that I can to help raise money to fund research for a cure so that no family has to endure the loss of their child from cancer. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
