I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

As my friends and family know I’ve been passionate about cancer research for much of my life and have spent the last 10 years working to advance cancer treatment. I feel incredibly fortunate to have two healthy children and can only imagine the difficulties that families face when this disease touches their lives. That is why I’m doing this; it is the best way I can think of to help those children. My hair is about 2 and a half feet long and I will be donating it to a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer. I’ve set a rather large goal for fundraising ($1000) but I’m confident that I can meet that goal with your support. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
