We all know friends and family members who've either suffered from cancer or lost their lives to cancer. I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research in memory of several wonderful people who brought light to my life and so many others: Margaret Morgan, Paula Vasby, Jerry Smits, Alyse Zabel, Jill Chatterson, Bob Evensen, Doug Lyke.
I'm also shaving my head for those who continue their battle with cancer: Steve Heng, Mike Grasee, Bob Grasee; and for those who are cured! While most of the people mentioned here were diagnosed as adults, one was not. Alyse Zabel recently passed away after a long, brave battle with leukemia.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
