I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Walker's Warriors

To help continue the battle against childhood cancer, my daughter Laura was one of the participants in the 2012 class of the "46 Mommas Shave For The Brave" event, held July 29, in Los Angeles, CA.

In support of her, and of all those families that are in this battle with childhood cancer, I completed my very own "Walking 4 More Tomorrows" event with a 2184-mile hike of the Appalachian Trail which I completed on September 13, 2012. "Virtual hikers" were invited to join me on this journey with a per mile donation for each mile of the A/T (a donation of $.01/mile would be $21.84) and as of December 2012, these "virtual hikers" had donated over $1600 for the fight against Childhood Cancers. Your support is very important to us and to the St. Baldrick's Foundation!

With head-shaving and other fundraising events, this volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when we ask for your support, we're really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
