I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Norwood's Long & Short of it Gang

As you can see I shaved my head. It feels funny but I am so glad that I did it. Not so bad looking with a bald head. Well even though I have had my head shaved dosent mean I can't still get donations. So if you can find it in your heart to help. please feel free to donate. March 8th, 2012
Well tonight is the night, I am getting shaved and I am alittle bit nervous and a lot excited. I have collected 927 dollars so far with the checks I have. So close to my goal. But you can still donate even if my hair has already been shaved. Kids with cancer need the help of generous people like you. So find it in your heart to donate today and watch for my picture soon. Love to you all.

It's almost that time, just 5 more days and I will be bald. I am so excited and really can't wait. I want to thank all those who have sponsored me so far and those who may in the next few days. make sure to come back and check out the pictures.

I have been wanting to do this for many years and finally did it. This means so much to me, to be able to show my support to all the Girls who have had to loose their hair because of cancer. I will be shaving my hair off to show my respect and love for them all. You don't have to give much, $5 would be great but please give something. It is so hard to see a loved one with cancer, I can only imagine seeing a child suffering from it. Let's try to find a cure, your donation will help. Don't do it for me, do it for the kids!

God Bless You All,

Mary Jean

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
