I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Two years ago a co-worker of mine signed up to have his head shaved for St. Baldricks...now it's my turn. Everyone who knows me is aware of how I'm always conscious of how my hair looks everyday but a couple of weeks ago I became conscious of something far more important. My nephew McLean "Mac" Connor was taken to the hospital after some concerning signs emerged during a routine exam. Within the evening we learned Mac had a brain tumor and he was about to begin the fight of his life. In the last couple of weeks he has endured several surgeries but contines to smile and keep on fighting. We received the official pathology report on 01/29 and we learned it was stage 4 (the worst possible scenario). Mac has begun his chemo and is still smiling and giggling.

Financially, times are exceptionally difficult for people so if you can't donate dollars, we also accept some words of encouragement for Mac. Below is a link to the blog my sister has created to keep everyone informed on how he and his parents are doing. Feel free to check it out and leave some comments if you wish.
