I had a friend, his name is Joe. They found out he had a brain tumor when he was in the 6th grade, and watching him go through that fight was so hard. He lost his battle, but I believe he is in a better place and enjoying himself. I am doing this for him and any other child who has battled a cancer or is battling cancer right now. I am also doing this for adult cancers, to show my support and my love. My grandmother battled Pancreatic Cancer and my grandfather has battled skin cancer and lung cancer. In a way I am also doing this for myself. It may sound silly, but it scares me to have short/no hair, so I am concuring my fear and supporting a well needed cause. my hair is long enough that it will be donated to make wigs as well. Thank you for any support and donations that you can give.
I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
