I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm finally doing it! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. I've wanted to do this for years but I always chicken out. I think becoming a parent has given me the courage to go through with this.

For five years I watched my dad fight cancer and it was absolutely heartbreaking. I can only imagine how devastating it is to watch your child go through the same struggle. Shaving my head is as much for their parents as it is for the kids.

Take a few more minutes to read about Michael M. I read his story on this website and I wanted to honor him on my participant page. His story is exactly why I'm doing this...we need to find a cure.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. THANK YOU!!
