I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: MCVFD

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: MCVFD

To help kids fighting cancer, I'm shaving my head for donations to St. Baldrick's Foundation. When my son, James was diagnosed with cancer in Nov 2009, I realized better treatments were needed for children. His prognosis was poor, with no proven standard treatment. Standard treatment alone would not cure him. He participated in a clinical trial and along with standard treatment he got 2 new drugs and an immunotherapy. Today he is cancer-free and a healthy little boy. My goal is to get enough donations to fund a clinical trial, like the one my son received. I want to give back, to another family, what was given to mine, a healthy child. Please support me! St Baldrick's provides children clinical trials that are in short supply due to lack of funding. With head-shaving and other fundraising events, this volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
